Design inspiration: natural timber grain and refined surface details

A considered approach to bespoke furniture

From your first references to a detailed design brief, the process centres on your space, the piece you need and the materials you want to live with.

From brief to proposal

01 · Your space and vision Tell us about the room, the piece and the atmosphere you want to create. Measurements, photographs and references establish a useful starting point. 02 · The design direction Explore proportions, materials, finishes and practical details. For fitted pieces, the surrounding architecture and storage requirements are part of the design. 03 · Your individual proposal Review the agreed scope, specifications, pricing and proposed timing before committing. Each commission is assessed individually.

Before we begin

Do I need a finished design?

No. A description, approximate dimensions and a few references are enough to prepare an initial brief.

What measurements are useful?

Include available width, depth and height, plus nearby doors, sockets and furniture. Note what works or does not work about an existing piece.

Can I explore different materials?

Yes. Your brief can include preferred timbers, upholstery, tones and surface finishes. Material suitability, availability and final specifications are confirmed as the design develops.

Do I need a budget first?

You can leave it open initially. A preferred range helps frame the discussion but does not establish a quoted price.

How are price and timing confirmed?

Each piece is assessed individually. Dimensions, materials, construction and any fitting requirements inform the proposal. Pricing, timing and the agreed scope should be confirmed before a commission proceeds.

Are these completed Roomblanc projects?

No. The images are design inspiration, including some architectural visualizations. They are not completed Roomblanc work or products currently for sale.
